DERBY'S CHANCE
COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 22. The county cricket season is drawing to its close and, although the leaders each have three more matches to play, Derbyshire, which is at the head of the county table with a.percentage of 58.4, has a sufficient lead over last year's champions, Yorkshire, with 51.11 per cent., to be generally expected to become the champion county—a position which Derbyshire has secured only once before in the history of the championship. . . ~ .
