DIVIDEND INCREASE
QUEENSLAND TRUSTEES, LTD.
Profit of Queensland Trustees, Ltd., for the year ended June 30, amounted to £8080. compared with £5527 the previous year. Dividend is 5 per cent, as against 4 per cent, for 1934-35, and requires £4418. Amounts of £1500 are transferred to taxation suspense account,' £1000 to the reserve fund, and £901 to the officers' provident fund. The balance. £261. added to £658 brought forward, gives £919 to be carried; forward. Commission! interest, and rents received amounted to £41.377. an increase of £2667 over receipts of the previous year. The number of estates entrusted .to the company during the year increased, arid the slight recovery, in the market for real estate is reflected in the improved result of the year's working. The amount at credit of various estates at June 30 appears at £9,801,469, compared with £9,769,303 twelve months previously. . , ■ '■ The capital of the company is £88,375, in,101,000 shares of £2 each, paid up to ,17s 6d. Assets, excluding secured loans to trust estates arid beneficiaries, mnount to £105,559.
