LONDON, August 9.

The King left the train at Salzbura while en route to the Mediterranean for his holidays. He was wearing grey flannels and a straw hat, and walked to the hotel where the Crown Prince of Italy is staying. After a short motor tour he resumed his train journey.

A British Official Wireless message published on Saturday referred.to the departure of King Edward on his cruising holiday at the weekend, and stated that he would join the yacht Nahlin at Sibenik, a Yugoslavian port..
