Furniture manufacturers, including upholsterers, polishers, picture-frame makers, and wire mattress makers. Motor mechanics in assembly plants, garages, and motor-cycle shops. Workers on municipal tramcars. Oil stores. Building industry, including carpenters, joiners, i plumbers, bricklayers, painters, plasterers, electrical workers, and labourers. Dunedin-Kaikorai Cable Tramway. Shift workers in gas works. Stonemasons. 44-HGUR WEEK. Storemen and packers. ' Fish and meat preserving and starch making. . , Pottery manufacturers. Bakery trade. Manufacture of burnt lime (except shell lime). Petrol Service station workers. Grocery trade. Tanners and fellmongers. Smokeless fuel manufacturers. Butchers' by-products. Butchers' shops. Bacon factories. Gas-company workers receiving coal and handling ashes, and complaint men. Women's hairdressers. 44 IN SUMMER; 36 IN WINTER. Aerated water manufacturers. 44 IN SUMMER; 40 IN WINTER. Fruit and vegetable preserving and canning and jam making. Carbonate of lime and shell lime works.* Goli-club manufacturers. INTERIM JUDGMENT. The Court has expressed the opinion that a 40-hour week for milk roundsmen and depot workers. in Auckland is practicable if ths margin of profit to the distributor is increased. *The six months at 44 hours per week can be arranged to suit the rusir periods in individual areas. "ACCORDING TO THE HOUSE." Engine-drivers are to work the hourf fixed for their gjace of employment.
