MANAWATU OFFICIALS
Nominations of officers for the Manawatu Racing Club closed on Saturday, and in the case of the committee, on which there are four vacancies, six nominations were received, making an election by ballot necessary. The nominations are as follows:—President, Mr. C. Louisson (re-elected); vice-pre-sidents, Messrs. L. H. Collinson and B. J. Jacob's (both re-elected); treasurer, Mr. G. C. Keeble (re-elected); committee (four vacancies), Messrs. F. J. Nathan, J. P. Innes, and L. B. Wall, and Dr. P. T. Putnam (retiring members). L. M. Abraham and M. Millar (new candidates).
