Some exhilarating contests were seen last evening during the semifinals of the Wellington junior wrestling championships at the Kilbirnie gymnasium. The finals will'be contested this evening.
Results were:—
"Welterweight, second round.—J. C. King (Petone), lOst, .beat R. Mather (Koolman's), lOst 41b, on points. This decision met with a very -mixed reception. C. Price (Koolman's), lOst 61b, beat H. Neilson (Koolman's), lOst 41b, by one fall.
