Mrs. Hughes Steele, Willis Street,, is pending a holiday in Feilding. Mrs. E. W. R., Haldane, Lower Hutt, las returned home after spending a veek with her mother, ' Mrs: E. O. loach, Tikokino. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Cook and Mr: T. S. Falla, Wellington, will leave for Christchurch on Monday night, and rill stay with Mr. and Mrs. F. ■S. Vilding, Riccarton. Dr. and-Mrs. J. Duncan Scott, Welington, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. '. R. L. Stanford, Marton. Miss I, Roberts, Palmerston'North, vho has been staying in Wellington or several months, has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Barry Blundell will cave Wellington next Monday for Christchurch, .where they; ■will be the ;uests of Mr. and Mrs. Endell Wankyn for the races. Miss O. Dray and Miss M. Pilkington eft Wellington yesterday for a holilay at the Chateau Tongariro. Mrs. Roland Reed,. Wellington, is nsitirig Patea. Mrs. Collogan and' Miss Freda Cologan'.have left Wellington to spend ace week in Christchurch.
