TRAFFIC OFFENCES

Offences under the Motor Vehicle Regulations were dealt with' by Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M, in the Magistrate's Court today. For driving without a licence Trevor Garner was fined' 5s and Henry Louis Gestro and Mervyn Leslie Guppy were each fined 10s and costs. For driving vehicles "with insufficient lights, Arthur Cooper Clendan, Jack Bevan, Frank Meo, George Alfred Mills, ■ and Frank Leonard Robertson were each fined 5s and costs.' On charges of parking contrary to the regulations and driving a motorlorry with inefficient brakes, Len Chait was convicted and discharged and convicted and fined'3os and costs respectively. Basil Norman Barnett, Raymond Arnold Eder; Robert Burns Hutdheson, Joe Lai Choy, Gordon Ceyler Moore, Frederick Geoffrey Williamson, and Albert George Rough were each fined 10s and costs for committing breaches of the parking regulations. Thomas Stuart Mulholland, for not parking securely on a slope, was fined 20s and costs. • - For overtaking on an intersection, Edgar Leeston Webb was fined 10s and costs. For operating; overloaded- .motor vehicles Edgar. Lay was fined £2 and costs and David Templeton Young was fined 10s and costs.
