PAHIATUA, This Day;

Snow made an appearance at a very •low point on the Tararuas during the past few days. This morning the barometer fell rapidly and there followed a severe snowstorm over Pahiatua and the district.

Club football' has been postponed, and the Bush junior representative game abandoned owing to impossible conditions.

The weather was showing an improvement later this morning, but it is feared that farmers will suffer, heavy losses in mortality of early lambs, which are fairly numerous.
