Lady Owen, Sydney, who has been

visiting her mother, Lady Chapman, ' Eccleston Hill, left on her return to Australia today.

Mrs. .H. Wardell, who has been 'staying at Miss Hackwprth's, Fitzherbert Terrace, for a few weeks, left for her home in the Wairarapa by car this morning. ' .

Miss M. Lorimer, Wellington, formerly lady principal of Nelson Girls' College, -will arrive in Christchurch early next week, and will attend the old .girls' annual dinner party oh Tuesday. .
