V.M.C.A. LADIES

AUXILIARY MEETING

A meeting of the Hutt Valley .V.M.C.A. Ladies' Auxiliary was held recently in the V.M.C.A. rooms, Cuba Street, Petone.

The president (Mrs. J. D. King) presided over a good attendance of members.

A motion of sympathy was passed to Mrs. D. McKenzie, to Mrs. J. W. Eddie, and to Mrs. B. Matthews, relatives of the late Mrs. Joseph.

The sum of £20 was allocated to the Board of Directors to be used in the interests of the boys of the V.M.C.A.

A vote of thanks was passed to Mr. Coleman for constructing a cupboard for the use of the Ladies' Auxiliary.

Arrangements were made for holding a "bridge" afternoon in the Horticultural Hall, Lower Hutt, during August.

The hostesses were Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. A. Bell.
