RAIN AT DUNEDIN
SPORTS POSTPONED

DUNEDIN, This Day.
For the first time this season all outdoor sports have been postponed on account of weather. There is a thick drizzle and the grounds are soaked.
Fortunately the Rugby club season has ended. Only the trial match was set-down for today.
Flying-Officer Campbell left the Taieri Aerodrome at 7.40 this morning in the local club's Moth for Timaru with air mail, but was compelled to turn back owing to bad flying conditions. The mails were dispatched by train.
Steady rain continues, penetrating to Otago Central, where the Oturehua ice carnival was postponed.
