LAUNDRY HOURS
FORTY PER WEEK
In the Arbitration Court yesterday Mr. D. I. Macdonald, secretary of the Canterbury Employers' Association, asked leave to withdraw the applications filed by laundry occupiers for an extension of the 40-hour week. The employers had decided not to proceed with their case for a longer week, he said.
The' applications were withdrawn.
