WINNER OF £30,000
♦ YOUNG DUNEDIN MAN ' (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) I DUNEDIN, July 23. Advice received at the "Otago Daily Times" office tonight stated that Mr. E. A. T. Johnstone, plasterer, of Dunedin, had won the first prize of £30,000 in the' Irish Free State Art Union. Mr. Johnstone could not be located tonight, but is described as a young man who recently had been looking for work under the Government's placement scheme".
