BOTH MARKETS STEADY (Received July 24, 11 a.m.) LONDON, .July 23. The butter market is steady. Danish, 126s to 128s per cwt; New Zealand, choicest salted and unsalted, 118s; Australian, 117s. ' ■ . The cheese market is firm. New Zealand, white 62s 6d per cwt, coloured 61s 6d; Australian, coloured, 59s to 59s 6d, but only a little is available. A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd., advise having received the following cable from J. and J. Lonsdale and Co. (London), Ltd.: Butter, market steady. New Zealand, 118s; Australian, 117s; Danish, market steady, 106s f.0.b., 127s landed. Cheese, market'firm. White, 62s 6d; coloured, quiet, 61s 6d. A. J. Mills and Co., London, July 23, cable the following market prices as ruling at the close of business yesterday:—Butter, market is steady. ■ New Zealand, finest, 117s to 118s per cwt; New Zealand, firsts, 116s to 117s; Australian, choicest, 116s to 117s; Australian, first grade, 115s- to 116s; Danish (spot), 1265; Danish (f.0.b.), 107s; Siberian, 110s to 112s; Baltic States, 110s to 112s. Cheese, market is steady. New Zealand, white, 62s to 62s 6d; New Zealand, coloured, 61s to 61s 6d.
