MAGISTRATES' EXPENSES
: ,"- ■»■' . Slightly more than a 10 per cent. increase in the travelling expenses o£ stipendiary magistrates is provided for by an Order in Council published in the Gazette last night. The regulations governing such allowances are amended to provide for 20s instead of' 18s for one day, and 10j iifctpad of 0-; for a half-day.
