PROTEST TO LEAGUE
MR. LESTER EVADES NAZIS

PARIS, July" 19. "L'lntransigeant" reports that when Mr. Scan Lester sent his secretary to telegraph a protest to the League against Herr Greiser's decree the clerk replied that the telegram would not please Herr Forster, the Nazi leader, and accordingly Mr. Lester was forced to motor across the frontier and send the cable from Gdynia.
