WAIWETU CLUB

The final of the Waiwetu Club's competition for the Pulley Cup over 36 holes was decided yesterday between J. B. Wallace (8) and J. J. Cheevers (7), Wallace winning by 4 up and 2 to play. The morning round saw Cheevers finish one up by doing a gross 78 to an 80 by Wallace, but in the afternoon Wallace did a steady 76 to win.
