HIMATANGI SOLD

The Anchor Company's steamer Himatangi, which has been sold to Australian buyers, will be towed to Sydney from "Wellington by the trawler Elsie' Cam, which is expected at Wellington tomorrow. When suitable weather occurs the tow to Sydney will be commenced, and should lake about fourteen days.. The Himatangi was bought in 1928 from Australia by n Foxton syndicate and subsequently sold to the Anchor Company in 1930. She was laid up t.t Wellington in the following year, and has remained here ever since. She is a steel twin-screw steamer of 479 tons gross.
