BANK OFFICERS
"NO STATEMENT TO MAKE"
"We have no statement to make," stated Mr. H. P. Mourant, secretary of the New- Zealand Bank Officers' Guild, Inc., when shown a report this afternoon stating that at a meeting of about 350 bank officers in Christchurch it had been decided to form a union and apply for registration under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act.
The question of . the position in Wellington was also raised, but Mr. Mourant again replied that there, was no statement to make.
