VALPEEN AND ALLEGRETTO

AUCKLAND, This Day. Allegretto and Valpeen continue to do. well in their preparation for the Grand National Steeplechase, and. all going well in the interim both may be expected to line up for the Riccarton event. Dark Shadow, who is in the Winter Cup, is also to travel south and as the going at Riccarton early in August is usually good he will be well suited. ■
