REFUSED ADMISSION
• Girl members of a cycling club hatless and wearing shorts and socks were refused admission on June 7 to the: Roman Catholic Church of Our y^y .. °£ Seven Dolours, Peck-ham (states the London "Daily Telegraph"). They tried to entep.the church to see' the wedding, of two of their-friends but were :ftopped at .the entrance by the verger. Offers of overcoats from friends were refused, and the girls remained outside •..
The wedding was that of Mr, Jphn Aston, Qf Atherton Street, Battersea president of the Solon Mixed. Tandem' Club, and Miss Elsie Gosling, of Haydock Road, Bermondsey. The couple started for 'their honeymoon on a tandem cycle.
