CENTRAL COMMAND
£500 TO WANGANUI
ALLOCATION OF PROFITS
The drawing, of the Central Military Command Art Union in aid of regimental funds took place this morning, the Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) officiating.
The first prize of £500 was won by Dr. Elizabeth Gunn, of Wanganuii
The profits from the art union amounted to £1850, and the approximate . allocations to participating organisations will be: Military units in the command, £1000; Returned Soldiers' Associations, £450; and kindred patriotic bodies, £400.
