AUGUST IN VIEW

Grand Mogul, Cloudy Range, Tempest, and Full Hand looked in glowing health when they stepped out on a two-mile journey at Addington on a recent morning (says the "Star-Sun") Grand Mogul assumed the role of pacemaker, with Cloudy Range, Temgf st. and Full Hand racing in single file. They reached the mile post in 2min 2psec, and the mile and a half was disposed of in 3min 39sec, at which point Full Hand was pulled up. Cloudy Range then joined Grand Mogul in the lead, and with Tempest in close attendance they reached the two-mile post in 4rhin 42 2-ssec. The tour horses revelled in their work, and are in grand order to receive the necessary sharpening-up trials for important races at the August Meeting at Addington.
