TRENTHAM'S NEW "TOTE"

Immediately following the recent Wellington Meeting work was begun on completing the alterations to the main totalisator house to accommodate the new Julius, all-electric plant, which is to be shipped from Sydney at an early date. The old windows have already been removed and new long windows are now being constructed to replace them.. It is desired to have all this work completed before the first portions of the Julius totalisator arrive, so that the work of installation may be begun at once. The plant; which is to operate at the Spring Meeting in October, a three-day fixture this year, will be the most elaborate machine yet installed by the company in any part of the world. ■
