DECLINE AT ADDINGTON.

CHRISTCHURCH, July 15. Entries were larger' irf the "sheep sections at Addington market: today. The fat sheep entry ,was' 5400 head more than double:.that-of*, last week. The sharp jump in values realised then of 4s to 6s a head was reduced by'half, although at the end of the big offering there were some passings. Best wethers made from 32s to 40s; prime medium weights. 27s to 31s; best ewes sold at 30s to 355, and prime medium weights 24s to 295.
Store sheep: A larger entry and a keen sale for ewes. Good s.m. Corriedales made to 30s Id; two and fourtooth halfbreds, to 34s 3d; and a pen of 36 s.m. halfbred, 30s to 31s 3d. Wethers sold to 24s lOd, and wether hoggets to 18s 3d. No ewe hoggets were in the market. ■■-■•■■■■ ■..-■■
Fat cattle: An entry of 420 head, with little change in values. Best cattle sold Crom £12 to £15 17s 6d; good, £10 to £11 10s; best heifers, to £10 12s 6d; and best cows, from £9 to £11 7s 6d. Best beef made from 28s to 31s per 1001b, and medium 25s to 27s 6d. Fat pigs: A heavier entry and lower prices for average sorts. Best-porkers made from 30s 6d to 45s 6d. (average price per lb 5Jd to 6Jd); baconers, 49s 6d to £4 18s 6d (average price per lb, 53d to 6d).
The. Middlesex and Surrey Thames Bridges Joint Committee has reaffirmed its previous decision that Hampton Court Bridge should ,be completed without the four kiosks which' had boon embodied in the original design 'by Sir Edwin Lulyens.
