GLADYS MONCRIEFF AGAIN.
Sir Ben. Fuller, one of the directors of Savoy. Theatres Pty., Ltd., the new company, .which' is staging "Billie," a musical play, at the Apollo Theatre states that Gladys ■ Moncrieft will appear on the stage of the Apollo Theatre in one of the company's future productions, says the Melbourne "Age." He will also engage overseas artists, but is not unmindful of a considerable .amount of talent scattered about the Commonwealth, and he wants to develop it wherever possible. The veteran impresario holds rights to about twenty musical comedies, and he intends to leave for America early next month in quest of further plays. At the conclusion of the season of "Billie," the company headed by Charles Norman and Catherine Stewart will present the musical comedy "Funny Face." "Rio Rita" will'be revived, by request, later on m the year, with Gladys Moncrieffi once more in the title role. A pantomime is planned for the Apollo Theatre at Christmas time.
