The Rev. T. Fielden Taylor, Cit^ Missioher, who has been seriously ill in a private hospital for oyer a-week, has made good progress during the past two days.
The Wellington District Free Ambulance Board today granted leave of absence to Mr. D. J. McGowan owing to illness. It was resolved that. a letter be sent to Mr^ McGowan expressing the board's high appreciation of his public service, .and .wishing him a speedy ' restoration' to health. ■•" •■••■-;■•■
