PREPARATIONS AT CANNES

NICE, July 14. The British Ambassador to France has arrived to finalise details of his Majesty's holiday at the Chateau de l'Horizon. The King' will travel incognito as the Duke of Lancaster, after attending the unveiling of the Canadian war memorial at yimy on Julv 26.
The autlK ities at Cannes have assured the Ambassador that the King's privacy will be respected, and the strikers, who are equally anxious that nothing shall spoil his holiday, are rapidly composing their differences with their employers.
