-He has abandoned the flight owing to a defect in a wing .of his aeroplane and is returning to L6ndoh -immediately. Inspection of the aeroplana revealed that ' the wing fabric had cracked, rendering a long-distanc° flight unsafe.' It was ' found that th° damage could be temporarily repaired, and Lord Sempill -decided t. return-to. London. ' ■
