LOCARNO POWERS
MEETING SHORTLY
QUESTIONS TO BERLIN
! ißrimi) OJJ)ri;il Wireless.) | (Received July 3, noon.) PuUGBY, July 2. There seems to be a probability that as a result of private conversations in Geneva between British, French, and Brazilian delegates a meeting of the Locarno Powers will take place towards the end of this month, possibly in/ Brussels. At their last meeting, it may be recalled, it was decided that the Powers should 'meet again after a reply had been received to the questions addressed to Berlin by the British Government upon certain points in Herr Hitler's proposals. Even in the continued absence of such reply it is considered in some quarters that a meeting in a few weeks' time should nevertheless take place to consider the situation.
