FAVOURABLE BALLOT
(By Telegraph—l'ress Association.) AUCKLAND, June 30. Members of the police and detective force in Auckland favour the formation of a police association. At a private meeting at the central station today, attended by over 200, a long discussion was held regarding the formation of an association, activities in Australia being largely, cited. A secret ballot was held revealing a large majority favouring; the formation of an. ■ association. A temporary committee.was elected.
