PLENTY OF GOLD

BOOM IN JOHANNESBURG SYDNEY, June 29. A mining engineer, Mr. J. Mcßae, who is associated with mines at Johannesburg, arrived at Sydney today. He said that gold was plentiful in Johannesburg (there was more than people knew what to do with), and it was mostly being invested in property and the share market. Building was booming. Dozens of new buildings up to 20 storeys high, mostly in the American style, were being erected.
