TITLE BOUT POSTPONED

The thick weather which prevailed in Wellington and the Cook Strait vicinity on Wednesday was particularly unfortunate for the promoters and principals in the featherweight boxing contest for the vacant Dominion title, which had been arranged for that night at Blenheim. Arrangements had been made for Ralph Aitken to fly over to meet Clarrie Rayncr, but tho conditions were such that it was considered inadvisable to attempt to send the aeroplane from Rongotai. The result was a keen disappointment for the boxers and also for the Marlborough Association which endeavoured to re« coup itself by arranging at short notice a bout between Rayner and Reekie on Thursday night.
