SOUTHLAND POWER
NEGOTIATIONS AT END (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCABGILL, June 18. The/Southland Electric Power Board at a meeting tonight passed a motion rescinding a resolution passed in March in favour of a referendum of ratepayers on the question of handing over the board's scheme to the Government. This means that the negotiations as far as the board. is concerned for tiie handing over of the scheme arc at an end.
