DRAFT IN CHAMBER ABOLITION INDUCEMENTS (Received June 17, 11.30 ajn.) PARIS, June 18. Deputies representing all partiet tabled a draft resolution inviting the Government to abolish sanctions and induce other League members to follow their decision. A BIG DECLINE TRADE WITH ITALY
SANCTIONIST COUNTRIES (Received June 17, 11.20 m) GENEVA,' June 16. The League Secretariat states that IS countries which are applying sanctions had total imports from Italy during April to the value of. only 424,000 gold dollars, compared with 6.777,000 gold dollars in April, 1935. Their exports t® Italy were valued at 2,453,000 gold dollars, compared with' 8,807,000 in April 'Ist year.
THE COMMONS DEBATE

Next Thursday's debate in the House of Commons on the Governn>»t's foreign policy, with special reference to the question of sanctions, will open with a speech by the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden, afid the Prime Minister, Mr. Stanley Baldwin, will speak towards the close of the debate. Thfe Opposition Leaders will take part in the debate, and it is understood that Mr. Lloyd George, who latterly has taken very little part in Parliamentary debates, will also speak.
