ANOTHER HATCH COYER

MAST BLOCK DISAPPEARS (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ' WAIPUKURAU, This Day. The mast block found on the beach at Porangahau on Friday has disappeared and has apparently floated out to sea. Another hatch cover was found by a search party yesterday morning. Evidently it had not been in the water long, as the screws were not rusty. It W as slightly smaller than the others, being about nine feet long and eighteen ; inches wide, SEARCH CONTINUES Search parties are continuing the search for wreckage along the coast near Porangahau, and although no further jetsam was discovered this morning, when operations were considerably hampered owing to the high seas, parties set out again later in the day, and were expected back early this evening.
