PAWNBROKER ATTACKED
MASKED AND ARMED INTRUDER SYDNEY, June 10. A masked armed man entered a pawnbroker's shop in Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, today and when interrogated by the shopkeeper, Charles Marks, aged 64, attacked Marks with the butt of a revolver and finally escaped, pursued by a neighbour's dog. Marks was too ill to say whether anything was stolen. Apparently robbery was the motive.
