ADVENTISTS' PRESIDENT

Pastor J. L. McEllhany, of Washing* ton, has been elected world president of the Seventh Day Adventist organisation.. His. election took-place at the world conference which closed in San Francisco on Sunday last. The retiring world president- is Paltor C. H. Watson, who has held office for the past six years and is returning to his home in Australia. Pastor McEllhany wias stationed in New Zealand some years ago. v Pastor W- G. Turner, a New Zealander, who has held office as president of ; the Australasian Division, ha« been appointed one of four vicepresidents of the General Seventh Day Adventist Conference, with headquarters in the city of Washington, United States of America. ■
