She was a member fl of a pioneer .Hangitikei family, and M her passing, severed a'link with Sir fl Walter Scott, as her mother was the fl Mrs. Cunninghame referred to in Lock- fl hart's account of Scott's life. fl Bequests of £250 each are made to |g the South American Mission Society, H to the Sudan United Mission, to the I] Regions Beyond Missionary Union, to || the Zenana Bible and Medical Mission, fl and to the British and Foreign Bible 9 Society. There also are two bequests a of £ 1000 each, one to the aged and in- fl firm ministers' fund of the Presbyterian B Church of New Zealand, and one to the l| infirm missionaries' fund if there is W such a fund, or, failing that, to the fi Presbyterian Church property trustees n to form the nucleus of a fund for fl establishing, a building for the benefit B of retired- missionaries. Legacies to it the last two charities are to be supple- lamented by a further £1000 each out of m the residue of the estate if there are E sufficient funds, and any remaining fl money .will go to the Scripture Gift . fl Mission, London. These legacies are (J! payable out of a fund set aside for producing annuities, and will not be payable until the death of the annuitants. The will also provides that certain debentures are to go to the Mildmay Mission to Jews.
