BRIEF SPELL OF LIBERTY
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 10. After two days of liberty the half caste Samoan stowaway who escapec from the Aorangi on Monday was arrested in Queen Street today. The man stowed away on the motor-shij Cape York at Apia. He was landec from that vessel at Vancouver and latei he was put on board the Aorangi a' Vancouver to be deported to Sydney where he was to be transferred to t : steamer going to Apia. When the Aorangi arrived at Auckland on Sun day the man was not confined to his cabin and on Monday afternoon he dis appeared from the vessel, which sailec for Sydney the same night. The man will be brought before i Magistrate this morning and arrange ments will be made to deport him t( Apia, via Sydney, probably by the Monowai, which will leave Wellingtor for Sydney on Friday.
