BILLIARDS RECORD BROKEN SYDNEY, June 3. In an exhibition billiards match today Walter Lindrum broke the world record score under the new balk-line rule, making a break of 1796. This is the third time since last Thursday that world record figures have been beaten. Tom Newman, in London on May 28, made a break of 1394 and Joe Davis, the following day, replied with 1784, which score was beaten today by Lindrum.
