DELIGHTFUL DINNER v PARTY Mr. H. G. Miller entertained a large number of friends at the Hotel. St. George last evening. The palm lounge was given up to his party, and cocktails oC various delectable kinds were served to the guests on arrival. The decorations were of chrysanthemums and autumn leaves. Later, after :nucn chcerful conversation, all adjourned to the other end of the lounge, where the dirner tables were artistically decorated with witch bowls and crystal vasts filled with red anemones, berries, and autumn leaves, trails of delicate asparagus fern with anemones being on the white tablecloths—a very tasteful scheme. There were dainty placecards with red poppy decorations and the name of the guest. The special guests of honour were Mr. and Mrs. Byron Mills, who will occupy Mr. Miller's home at Wadestown during his visit to America, Mrs. Miller having preceded him there, as she left with her mother, Mrs. Fiebiger, a few weeks ago. During the party the health of Mrs. Miller was cordially toasted, and it was resolved by the guests to send her and Mrs. Fiebiger a cable mesasge 6f good will from the assembled guests. Mr. Byron Mills proposed a vote of thanks to Mr. Miller for his delightful hospitality, and expressed the pleasure of all in being present at such a well-arranged party. Then all left for a "picture party," with the added pleasure in returning to the hotel for supper afterwards. It was a very memorable evening of successful entertainment.
