Substantiating his statement by the reading of what he described as a secret document issued to the German police containing instructions to stamp out such an organisation. Mr. J. C. Little, in his presidential address to the conference of the Amalgamated Engineering Union, said that German trade unionists had established a secret body to overthrow Hcrr Hitler, aiming first at the release of imprisoned trade unionists.
Ho added that German workers were rebelling because they were povertystricken, and were conducting campaigns in the factories and workshops, which were already rejecting Nazi candidates for the workshops councils.
