ACTION FOR RECOVERY,

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day.

Decision was reserved by his Honour Mr. Justice Ostler in an action brought by the Transport Mutual and General Insurance Co., Ltd., in liquidation, against Cyril Ernie Richard Webber, agent, of Dunedin, for recovery of amounts totalling £1891 with interest. Evidence was given this morning by John William Shaw McArthur, company director, that he made arrangements with Webber In 1933 to acquire shares in the Dunedin concern. The object in promising Webber an increase of salary from £400 to £1000 was to induce him to obtain 10 per cent, of the shares of the Dunedin company.
