mutton demand improves The frozen lamb market in London is steady with better prices for heavyweights, according to the weekly cable . received by the New Zealand 3Meat Producers' Board. Wethers are weaker, 1 especially for lightweights. Ewes arc also weaker but the demand is improving at the lower prices. The beef market: Quotations are still nominal , owing to short spot stocks. New Zealand porker pigs are slightly firmer.
