TREND OF VALUES

PRIME SORTS IN DEMAND

Except for prime fat sheep livestock values had an easier tendency at some of the principal sales held in the Dominion yesterday. Prime heavy ewes and wethers were in keen demand and lambs showed no change at Johnsonville, but other classes of stock were easier. Values ruled firm in all sections at Westfield and a firm market is expected until after the first frosts. At Burnside all prime fat cattle appreciated 10s a head and fat sheep were up Is to 12s. Full late rates ruled for lambs.
