"CHARLIE CHAN AT THE CIRCUS.
As the famous Chinese detective Chan, Warner Oland calmly and silently unravels one of the most baffling mysteries of his entire career, in the Fox picture "Charlie Chan at the Circus." It is Chan's task in the new picture to track down a mysterious killer who. after having committed one murder, returns to the scene of the crime again and again, to silence those who might know iis identity. Sines the murdered man was owner of a circus, and his relations with the performers were none too amiable, every one of the circus people are under suspicion, including the giant gorilla, who was out of his cage at the time the crime was committed. With few clues to work with and continuous attempts uoon his life, hindering his progress on the case. Chan slowly weaves a w-ab around the suspected party. The solution of the crime brings happiness to the large circus group who were continually terrorised by the unknown criminal.
