LONDON, April 18.
Lady Angela . Montagu-Douglas-Scott, sister of the Duchess of Gloucester, who will be leaving for• New Zealand in May after her marriage to Lieutenant-Commander Peter Dawnay, R.N., chose a very beautiful gown designed by Mr. Norman Hartnell. The material adhered to the classic convention of all brides in that it was creamy white satin. From the high draped neckline there was: a long central panel, reaching almost to the ground, of the minute smocking, into which the fullness of the dress was cleverly gauged. The sleeves were long and tight-fitting. ' The train was cut in one with the skirt-and spread out on the ground in a large fan shape. The bridal headdress was a simple chaplet of orange blossom, which secured the lovely old Brussels lace veil —lent by the bridegroom's mother, the Lady Susan pawnay. This veil was cleverly mounted on crisp ivory, tulle', making a perfect colour .blending with the old, lace aiid the ivory'satin. : .:' •The two grown-up bridesmaids, t the Lady Rachel Douglas-Home and Miss Jean" Scott, wore Hartnell dresses, of the same creamy white satin, with' softly-draped cowl neckline,.and angelwing sleeves, The long moulded gowns;were on princess.-lines,-slightly draped at the waist where, they were held by a loose satin sash. -Circlets of cream cellophane' flowers 'formed the headdresses: '.". ■■■■'. - The six small bridesmaids—the Ladjr Caroline Scott, the 'Hon.
