The weddingwas solemnised recently at St. Andrews Church, "Wellington, of Irene Pearly eldest daughter of Mr. arid Mrs. C. Beazley, Ngaio,»and Frank, only son of Mr. and Mrs. G. S.:Nic6li, Karori. .
•The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a, slim-fitting gown ;of cream satin fashioned with a cowl neckline and long train,'and trimmed! on. the sleeves and back with satin .buttons'. The beautiful patterned veil was attached to a silver scquined cap with orange blossom interwoven. She carried a shower bouquet of white'and cream flowers. The bridesmaids, Miss Maire Nicoll, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Noeline Beazley, sister of the bride, wore charming gowns- of lilac georgette; The frocks were cut, on simple lines with full sleeves.. They wore bandeaux of' silver; leaves and carried bouquets in. apricot tones.

The bride's mother wore a Lido blue ensemble with hat to tone,. arid her bouquet was in autumn shadings. A brown ensemble with hat to tone was worn-by, the bridegroom's mother, and she carried a bouquet of autumn tints. Mr. and Mrs.Beazley entertained their guests at the Gresham Cafeteria.'
Mr. and Mrs. F.;Nicoll'left for.a lour ot the north, the bride travelling in a smart navy and red suit with halo hat and accessories to tone. '
